Altadena Elementary School will host a resource fair and neighborhood block party that focuses on college and career success on Friday, June 12.
The event includes classroom presentations about career opportunities in law, media, medicine and the arts; workshops for parents on how to start their children on multiple pathways to success in college and careers, student performances and a barbecue.
Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) Superintendent Edwin Diaz will discuss reforms in the districts middle and high schools, and new programs to support multiple pathways to career and college.
