  • PUSD Update Regarding San Gabriel Valley Fires

The Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD) issued the following update regarding the impact of the fire currently burning in the San Gabriel Valley foothills on PUSD schools:

Based on information received from the Sierra Madre Emergency Operations Center, PUSD informed parents that classes will resume at Sierra Madre School, upper and lower campuses, on Tuesday.

PUSD is continuing to work with the cities of Sierra Madre and Pasadena to monitor the status of the fire, and to obtain information about whether to evacuate campuses. PUSD will continue to keep students inside during the school day and at after-school programs until the air quality improves.

PUSD will continue to provide updates about the status of the fire and its impact on schools at www.pusd.us.
